Lot of us in the same boat. Knowing I'm doing it my way and on my own keeps me going, Worked off farm for 20 years just to get home and climb on tractor and go til I couldn't go anymore. Catch some shut eye and get up and go again. Had same struggles as you described and still do. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Agree with Grain farmer, it's in our blood.
