Farwell, Tx | My latest struggle is my one and only T&L sprinkler that last summer got water in the tank (my mistake) and shelled out a $1,600 pump that was only 2 years old,
Fired it up this spring had 2 oil leaks from where water in the lines had froze and split the oil lines.. Got that fixed after a bunch of costly oil on the ground and suddenly 5 of the 7 tower motor seals are leaking badly. $360 a piece and $1300 of oil later I'm running again.. Metered my 2 wells and they are down to 100gpm and 50gpm going into the pivot..
But I love what I do and could not find a better occupation to raise my family.. | |
