Henderson county illinois | I bought a 170 acres 2 years ago with the new farmer down payment program coupled throught the FSA with the beginning farmer bond program through the Illinois Finance Authority.I'm buying a second farm from my Dad on contract so I can apply the manure on it-he bought farm 2 years ago and got a deal and am buying it for 15% over what he paid.One of the hog barns will be mine and it doesn't make sense to only put one up(obviously better to split the road,well,composter,etc between two buildings)so my Dad has agreed to build the second.
