Last fall somebody hit our big lab, did a good job and her guts were all over the side of the road. In broad daylight, right in front of our house. Nobody stopped. How fast could they have been going to do that? Our dog would go out to the road but I never saw her actually on the road. People go by our house 70 mph all the time.
