NW Iowa | definitely agree with the forage quality, engbert i was just going to say the same thing. Over the last couple of dips in milk price most of us learned how to become better managers of all aspects of the dairy and put the money where it counts. There may be a place for the 40-50 pound herds but don't know if i would go out to the barn for those kind of pounds. Everyone can improve on something whether you have 50 pounds or 90 pounds. Keys are being efficient in all aspects and not to skimp where things really do matter. | |
