Farmington IL | On moms side my great great grandfather and his brother came to America and then on to Illinois in 1886. We still are in contact with our family still farming on the home farm in Northern Ireland. He just posted some pics of showing cattle this week. I live on a farm he bought in 1894. Dads side was in the state of Virginia pretty early on but no definite date. We do know that they came to White county Il in 1816. Then part of them moved north to Fulton county in the 1930’s. My wife did some genealogy and it was pretty neat. | |
