I've had mostly good landlords. All but 1 actually let me rent for less than top rate, in return for better care. That care might have been things like improving fences, fixing a waterway, etc. Had one, that I had to drop because the rent got higher than I could pay. No longer rent it, but since it's in the neighborhood, I'm glad that it went to a good guy, honest and easy to get along with.
