Central KS | I was raised to always the get best deal and squeeze the other guy hard.
After working in off farm businesses for a few years, I came to realize that everyone involved in a deal has to make money. If one guy doesn't make money and goes out of business or quits dealing with you, that often makes it less profitable for the very people who squeezed him out.
Now it's only right to try and get a bigger piece within reason, but you have to leave the other guy with something, or the whole thing might collapse on you.
That advice goes for landlords, tenants, vendors, and customers alike. | |
