Lynd Minnesota | I grew up eating our own pasture born feed outside hogs. We’ve been out of the hog industry for a quite a few years now and I feel the quality of pork has dramatically changed in the last 20 years for the worse. The color texture fat content taste and smell is nothing like the pork was when outdoors facilities were common. I’ve had pork with bad smell and taste from many different sources including restaurants. For those reasons we eat a lot less pork because I feel it’s not worth dealing with the smell. | |
