SC Mo Ar line | It is possible what you are smelling is the preservatives used in the meat.Back in the 90's the store I shopped at had beef, pork, and chicken that had the same nasty smell. After a chicken I had purrchased gave me severe indigestion for three days I went and talked to both the store manager and meat dept manager. They had already had some complaints so were aware of the problem. It was the excessive preservatives some processors were using. Not too long after that I started seeing a lot of chicken labled as all natural, minimally processed. Just guessing that they had quite a few complaints. | |
