 Anderson County Kansas | You aren't right for this area or a lot of others. I have bought 480 acres in the last year, and the last I just bought was the most I have ever paid. I don't think it's going down everywhere. IMO with the new farm bill and the new stance from the FED, I don't see it going down a lot now either. My guess is good ground will stay steady to higher. Like I said, trying to time the land market isn't the way to buy land. I know guys that have been waiting for 25 years for it to go down. I also know a guy that sold some 10 years ago and was going to buy it back cheaper. It is worth half again what he sold that for, almost double. | |
