Subject: RE: Investments for 26 year old

west central MN

Starting to farm in the 80's felt like a terrible time to start but looking back at it now I think the 80's where good for me. I feel that I learned a lot and it also put me on a more level playing field with some of the  neighbors that had been farming for awhile. After about 5 years of farming I had as just as much money as the neighbors that had been farming for 20 years. (we where all broke LOL)  I know of about 3 guys that where able to start farming in the late 80's because land had come down and that has worked very good for them.
