With everyone recommending land. Do you think I should wait a year to see if the price is gonna soften or jump in. The last year here certain sales have dropped the price. I picked mine up for a good price. If I start attending a larger number of sales maybe another deal to be had. I am not stuck in a area. I have my acres currently customs farmed so if the price was right I can always find a custom farmer would this be a smart idea instead of being stuck in a 20 mile area?

One of the best things we did when buying land was to buy a farm 35 miles from our "home" farm -30 years ago
-It opened up areas in land buying and opened our minds to possibilities
Probably opening minds the most important--I try to not think too far or too much

--good luck in your decision
