how long do you let engines idle?

I’m no expert but from my understanding there must be microscopic cross hatching at all times.

I guess
The fuel(as stated) wash’s the fuel away.
The way it was “stated” like a malfunction of the fuel system.

But at idle the “fuel” amount isn’t perfect.

Then the argument of different engines etc.
Debate has been going on seems like forever.

Now I may be wrong but the cross hatching we’re talking about is very very small.

What I was told.
I’ve been around welding that required X-ray.
Not saying above is truth.
But makes sense.
