Stratford WI | 2 hours on Sunday is not a day off. 7 days a week as an employee would not fly at all even at 19 an hour. What's the point in making a wage if you never have time to emjoy it. And as just an employee that will be the mindset.
Back in the day I worked on a dairy farm for 1200 a month plus milk meat and cheese. Got ever other weekend off and a house trailer to live in. At the end of the year I also was able to pick out several of the years heifers for myself with an eye towards buying the place in the future.
19 an hour is great pay, most dairies here won't pay much more than 11 and the vacation is ok for the first year.
7 days a week is not a schedule for an employee. Get another one and run them on a 2 and 3 schedule 12 hour days. That way each gets every other weekend off.
