Insulate your carport and put a gas space heater on it. We use our carport all the time in the winter.
What we didn't do and wish I had was a ventahood on the carport because we grill out there in the winter. Have to open the door but we can grill in any weather.
Also have a hot water hookup with a good hose out side for washing boots off.
