Paxton, IL | The old farm house went up in the 1880's and we're starting to get serious about replacing it.
We have a pretty good list of things we want to incorperate when we build new. But I'd like to hear some of your lists of must haves if you were building new. I'm planning on building this house now to be the farm house of the future. So I plan to build it right, not be moving out in 10 years.
Overall theme so far has been energy efficiency and accessibility.
One thing on my mind is that this new house will be very well insulated. Since it will be so tight, in assuming I need to look into a ventilation system of some sort. How many of you have added that, or wish you did?
