| +1 on the mud room coming in off the garage. In the mud room have a large sink, shower, toilet, and closets. That is where I keep all my work clothes(house built in 2008).
Have a 3 car garage and make it extra deep. You can never make it too big.
On the exterior, if you're not using brick or stone, I strongly suggest that you use seamless steel siding. I never understand why people spend so much on a new house and then scrimp on the siding. Check out the warranty. When we did ours it was a 40 year warranty. | |
