| Talk to the guys in the back at Lowes. They won't be undersold. Their lumber is really nice. Order 5% more than you need and send back any pieces that are undesirable. Materials that are nonreturnable, order about 90-95% of what they estimate you will need. As they get close to finished installing, can order in the rest and will be in the store in a couple days. Lowes only charged me $20 for delivery, and I was 50 miles away. The quality of a lot of their merchandise is far superior to menards. And the guys in building materials are mostly pretty sharp. Take your blueprints to them and they will print out a materials list with pricing. It's not the same pricing you see on the shelf.
