West Central IL | I currently live in the old home place where the curtains need nailed to the wall. My wife recently went back to work after taking 6 year off while having 2 kids. She is going to be pulling in $40000 per year income, plus health insurance. We have been living decently from our on farm income. Is there any advice about building that anyone would like to share. I'm going to put it on an acre of land. About 2000-2500 square feet max all one level plus basement. Anyone know what the average cost per square foot to build in a rural area is? My 1 year plan is to get my acre staked off, then hopefully within the next 5 years pull the trigger on construction. | |
