NW Iowa
And if he ends up malnourished or sick because he hasn't eaten or hurts himself during a tantrum and you take him to the doctor, the doctor is a mandatory reporter, meaning he, along with teachers has to report this to child services who turns it over to DHS who has a visit with you and calls you a bad parent for starving your child. YOU ARE NOT A BAD PARENT but they in their infinite wisdom and power will treat you like one. Just because you have a child with extra strong willpower for whatever reason. I feel for you. Our child protection laws are well meaning but have gone too far. I get real fired up over this. We personally have never had this problem but we have seen it in action. I'm drifting off subject, sorry.
