Always remember, however, that here in this forum, you are reading "wisdom" from mostly poor dirt farmers (even if they have become somewhat successful).
As far as your dad - my memories of the 30s are from conversations I had with my dad. I still miss talking with him.
As for what your dad said about being very fortunate - this is more and more what I'm getting afraid of. I think it might be interesting to get a thread going about the increasing probability of this. It looks very real to me, unfortunately. | |
