| He had a really bad experience with the government and the bankers and the NY courts. I'm pretty sure this is one of the driving forces behind what he is doing now - with writing a widely read blog. But, I have to say that I listened to him every year back in the early 90s, and when he gave the final presentation, *everyone* was there and *everyone* was listening intently. He had little to gain by supporting the Foundation/Cycles, but it seemed clear that he enjoyed it. It looked obvious to me that he enjoyed staying around and visiting with the people there. I certainly enjoyed the visits with him where there would be 10-12 of us standing around him. My "claim to fame" was when I related my theory of how the bankers *made* the cycle highs and the lows in the cattle market. He changed it to real estate in one of his newsletters about a year later. | |
