Guys like Armstrong have to exude confidence. They could never sell themselves or their services (or anyone listen to them) if they were not confident. Heck, Krugman is confident.

I also agree with you about him being more than just a salesman for his financial services though. Like many others that are sounding warnings, I believe they have a true concern for their country and fellow man. There are some charlatans out there just trying to make a buck, for sure. I don't believe Armstrong is one of them.
