Luke 16:19-31 rich man wants lazerus to go back to his family like him showing up after death would prove to them that God exists and hell is real...
God says it wouldn't work. He knows even if they had physical evidence that that won't save them. Agnostics believe there is a God but that's not enough.
James 2:19 says even if you believe there is a God that's no different than the demons. Harsh but the point is that salvation comes not from proof there is God but understanding reality of sin in your life and necessity for Christ in your life so you can have a relationship with God
Anything short of that such as proof God exists is still coming up short. | |
