You mention the Israelites exodus story. I hope you realize it is just a story.
There is absolutely no evidence to back it up, no mention of it in Egyptian history nor sign of thousands of people living in the desert for all those years. Something that should have left some archeological evidence.
Then of course there are all the events that are in the story that are well just unbelievable, especially since there is absolutely no evidence to back up the claims in the story.
Anyone can write a story about miracles but just because it is written down does not indicate it was a miracle or that it actually happened.
As for this 'soul', why would anyone recognize something that has no evidence of existing?
It would only be correct for modern medicine to not recognize it, how could we have confidence in medicine otherwise?
You make an assumption that life formed from nothing, only religious people think that.
when life began the earth had been here for several billion years and there was lots of 'stuff' for life to form from.
what are the mathematical probabilities of a god making everything from nothing?
Of course there was not really nothing if there was a god but then it gets pretty confusing to explain magical happenings since other magical happenings can be introduced to explain why the first magical happenings do not make sense and on it goes. | |
