SE IL | Capitalism leads to consolidation to the point of monopolies that then have almost complete control over a sector. It then either has to be broken up by the government, or they payoff the right people to continue to push their way to wealth at the expense of others. Carnegie and Frick and the steel mills were a great example. If corruption stays out of it it prolongs it but nearly everyone can be bought for a price.
