For what it is worth. We are raising 3 grandchildren. The youngest is now 8. H e suffers from ADHD, and all of the issues that go along with it. Today for Thanksgiving dinner, he got into some oreo salad that one of our daughters brought. By the time I got my ;head back where it should have been, he had had 4 helpings. He is bouncing off of the walls. So, sugars can be problematic.
I now sympathize with parents of "difficult" children
