If you would have read the next sentence is where i got it from. You know..talking to the hippies. I do know how they wanted things to be raised. Just like there pot they grew. Hand tended and watered. Didnt see any reason we should need herbicides. Just go out and pull the weeds or hoe them. But i guess im clueless oh well.


You basing the organic food movement's mentality on talking to a couple of pot smoking hippies is like me going out to backwoods, Iowa and finding one ignorant guy in coveralls and claiming he represents conventional farmers.

Believe it or not, a lot of consumers who tend toward buying organic food are actually educated, fairly high income group. There is a reason big companies are investing heavily into the organic market. The consumer base has a lot of disposable income.

All im saying is some of the organic consumers are very opinionated and very vocal. They also would like to see organic be the only option. Thats all i was getting at. Do you disagree that there are consumers that want GMOs and pesticides banned?
