SE MN Still in Pothole Country | I was about 13 years old. Big old barn was open to south and dug into side hill on north side and had lightning rods. Ground cable big braided strap that connected to ground rod along alley on west side of barn. Went out to start evening chores. Storm moved in and as I was pushing feed cart past ground rod kaboom and sparks flew. Just felt a little tingle. Glad cart had rubber tires. |
