| I was working ground in a 4650 when a storm blew in, with hard rain. I was sitting on the edge of the field waiting for the rain to quit when things lit up. Kind of weird, it blew out the am side of the radio, and left the fm side alone. This was one of the early partially computerized tractors, and a bunch of sensors and the dash computer were fried. Looking later, the tip of the radio antenna looked like it had been welded. | |
