Nw Iowa | I think alittle more to it. Massive student debt created by constant need for more education dollars that went to teachers unions and universities rather than to help student. Teacher unions that reward teacher tenure rather than quality teachers. Unrealistic attitudes about trying to live at level of parents current lifestyle rather than parents starting lifestyle. Having cell phone bills, cable bills, 2 newer car payments etc. Spending time in college getting a degree that there is no employment in.Students pressured to go to college at all costs and regardless of students real abilities. Blaming it all on boomers a bit unrealistic. Kids starting their career with more debt than could be imagined just 10 or 15 years earlier. | |
