It does bring back memories of years past. Before the crash seemed you couldn't pay too much for land as it kept going up so fast you could make money on it in a year or so. Thing different now is low interest rates compared to interest rates before the crash years ago and the government pumping all this money into the economy. Between the price for building acreages and the cost of building the homes themselves, it is sending existing home prices through the roof.
The government can't let interest rates get very high or our economy would crumble. Inflation seems to be a given with little effort by the government to stop it.
