I suppose my brother and I would fall into your category of “worst competition” as we’ve been fairly successful and the timing of our careers was optional for success in agriculture. But something you might forget is that for many of these successful farmers, they are nearing the end of their careers and health is starting to fail. It’s not always as green on the other side of the fence as it may appear.
