Thanks for the info guys. Not sure if there's an answer to it all - every year is different. For now will keep on keeping with covers. I'm liking a fall or summer mixed cover that I can bale if it rains followed by a cash crop. Last year my baled mixed cover made as much money as a typical dryland crop would year on year.
