I agree with the double edge sword concept.

Through the cropmetrics dealership network, I have met some pretty sharp guys and gals from western ks and Eastern co that I would defer to on this subject. It seems as though many of those people (including Lucas and others here) in that general area are a little more motivated than the avg grower when it comes to moisture management in extreme dry conditions.
