CNY | Our school board and administration are working on several possible scenarios for opening as well as not opening at all. Grandson's SUNY college is planning on trying a partial semester with no breaks and then a very long winter break with on line classes. They let a lot students slip thru this spring term but his understanding is grading will now be much stricter. Younger grandkids' pediatrician says from her observations these young kids need to get back to school. She said the risk to kids is low and there is a risk to mental development by keeping them "locked up". We are seeing this at different levels with our 4 younger grands, from no problem to regression of social behavior. But they all want to get back to school for sure.
