I think they should continue as normal and treat sick kids like they always have. If you get sick. Stay home. When you get better, come back to school. But I know that is not what will happen. My daughter played in a basketball tournament a few weeks ago in KC. One of the kids she played against tested positive a couple days later. Every team that played against the sick girl had to quarantine for two weeks. My son couldn't go to his summer job at John Deere because he lived with a person in quarantine. A total disruption of our families way of life for two weeks. Way over kill as far as I'm concerned.
If they treat schools like they did in the KC basketball tournament, then most kids will spend a lot of school days at home anyway.
Kids will spread it without knowing that they are sick.
