It depends on what you'd like to do with the water.

If you'd like to get the water to drop out of the fuel, so you can drain it out of the tank at a low point (as you do in light aircraft, for example), then you do not want ethanol in your gasoline. 


I would ,will say it all depends on the quality of the machine if it can handle the mix

portable welder, been no problems Husqvarna string trimmer no problem,

Stihl leaf blower does not like it
