Absorbs water (moisture from air), then bad things happen. Just fixed a Gator that rarely gets used. 24,9 hours and we’ve done put two new fuel pumps and one fuel sender. Last bill was over $500 just for parts.

I don't know who thought up this one but ethanol does not absorb moisture from the air. If you're having those issues it's not from the ethanol....if that we're true we would never be able to keep a fuel pump in anything because it's all we (and many others) use, and haven't replaced a pump yet.

I didn’t take a pic of the steel frame that holds the pump but it was rusty, top to bottom. Here is the pump itself along with the crud in the bottom of the tank. The customer is now using ethanol free gas and No problems so far.

I’ve also messed up carbs using E10 on restored antique two bangers, my Miller welder and Honda pressure washer. Never messed up any carb on ones with av gas in them.
