Day Co. SD
He won't very easily if he is like me.
I got the same whack on the head last year. I got the carrot dangled for 29 years. Took the last 5 before I realized what was up. I got good wages, but passed on some other opportunities because they didn't fit in with the future being projected to me. I did a lot of extra work that would be to my benefit later on in life. I put my wife and kids in 2nd place for way too many years, because I was building the future. Its all gone now. I am 45 years old standing back in the exact same spot I was at 24. I feel too old to start something, but too young to be finished.

Thank God for my very forgiving wife and kids, there is little other reason to carry on.

Very little help for the OP in my post. The best advice I got was " It could always be worse" I try to remember that daily. Keep moving ahead one step at a time, it is still progress.
