No, we did NOT discuss that. In the situation that was presented, there was absolutely NO mention of the off-farm sibling getting anything. THAT is a presumption on your part. Go back and re-read the Original Post.

And quit putting your own situation into this one.

So he is calling a spade a spade and you are saying he is wrong

just have to have parents that are not greedy to help the farm stay intact
