I agree with all above. Each farm / size = a little different approach. Off farm working affects what time saver is next investment. But in the end: DO NOT FORGET ABOUT MARKETING! Growing lots of bushels per acre, and then giving them away = non profitability. I am as guilty of this as the next guy. During the year when price = profit; lock SOME in incrementally.
