10,000s probably 100,000s of cattle are kicked out on single wire (junk telephone wire or old barbwire((too rusty/splices every 25’)) every year in wheat pasture country. Some don’t even hot fence break em before kicking them out. A friend I hooked up with a farmer just kicked a couple hundred non broke yearlings out on wheat. He had a ballgame to attend and warned me he may be calling. Don’t make the fenceing be a deal breaker, buy some sucker rod and cut post run some wire. Find a actual cattlemen with the understanding he will teach you or help you through the wrecks. When you fill comfortable run your own. Also don’t go build a fancy facility yet. By a portable pen.

Find someone with half a clue and spend time, run there carttle and when you feel comfortable roll at it. Don’t over complicate with cow vs yearling/ type of fence etc etc
