Well, you obviously have the financial stability to withstand an $80K hit, so I would think you could withstand a $20K hit for awhile also. If you do go to court and win, then you can put liens on anything they own, until they pay you back or file for bankruptcy. Which is another story and having been on the short end of someone filing BK, don't get me started there.

I used to by into the cost/benefit theory of legal stuff, ie don't sue someone if it's going to cost more than it's worth. After dealing with enough a$$holes, my attitude is changing, that I'm ready to take legal action just for the principle of it sometimes. Kinda like back in school. Yeah, it hurt my hand to hit the bully back, and it would have been less painful to just let things slide, but sometimes, you just have to do what you have to do.
