Bloomington and Putnam IL | I just do it. Last year I pulled a glut in late June and still got in over 1,300 miles and ran 51 races (mainly 5Ks but a few 10K and longer trail races). Maybe back to 95% now? Looking forward to running a 7.5 mile make you cry trail race in the mud on Saturday with my son. Also hit the weights 4 times a week. Some pain is just part of it but most guys my age (I'm 54) who tell me how "bad" all the exercise is for me can barely move as they limp over to eat another plate of carbs and grab more pie and cookies. Don't want to be those guys.
