Tough call. But he hired you to do a job. With any job there are risks associated. Was he neglegent. Can you prove he cut the post off then maybe yes.. You might have a case. Otherwise look at it from another point of view. You hire coop to spray. They damage sprayer in a tile hole. Do you pay to fix there sprayer. ???
