Yep, this is complete and utter crap. Soybeans are lazy. If N is available in the soil to them, they will use that rather than nodulate to fix their own. In fact, on a bushel per bushel basis, soybeans actually need more N than corn does!

This is a classic example of the junk science that so many of the environmentalists use. If they would just get their heads out of their asses, and actually attempt to work /with/ farmers, I think they'd get a lot more accomplished...
