State of Jefferson (Oregon) | Depends... Some kids can probably handle it at 9 or 10 years at the earliest, yet there's also "adults" that I wouldn't trust driving a lawn mower who are driving cars all the time.
Just make sure they aren't texting or playing on their phones all the time, accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.
Personally I started driving mower tractor at 13 and the combine at 14. My sister started driving combine at 15.
