Nusbaum Farms LLC Bellfountain, OR | I will probably get flamed for this but my 9 y/o son was riding with me in the 9400 and he asked to drive. 3 hours later I was really bored with goofing around with my phone in the buddy seat, so the next day I went back to the old 8430 and let him have the 9400 with AutoSteer. I was really bummed when he went back to school 2 weeks later. He was ready to get rolling at 7AM and most nights didn't want to quit yet at 8. He did an excellent job, better than many of our employees. Most of the time we were in the same field, or adjoining. We did have radio contact, and I did all the roading. I think you've got to know your kids' strengths and weaknesses and use your own judgement. All kids are different.
